Whois Privacy Protection in Website Hosting
If you get a website hosting plan from our company, you’ll be able to enable Whois Privacy Protection for any of your domains provided that their extensions support this option. You can register/transfer a domain name and enable Whois Privacy Protection during the signup procedure or you can enable the service for any of your domain names at any time afterwards through the Hepsia Control Panel. The process is very easy – once you log in, you’ll have to visit the Registered Domains section where you’ll notice a list of all the domains that you have registered through our company. For each one of them you will see an “Whois Privacy Protection” symbol, which will show you whether the service is enabled or not. By clicking it, you can either Whois Privacy Protect the domain, or you can disable the service if it is currently active.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Enabling Whois Privacy Protection for any domain is exceptionally easy in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. As long as the domain name is registered with us, it will be displayed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated package. In case a given generic or country-code Top-Level Domain is Whois Privacy Protection-eligible, you’ll notice a mini button next to that domain. To activate the Whois Privacy Protection service, you will need to click on it. In the exact same way, you can also renew or remove the service. You can activate Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the account activation procedure as well, but since the Whois Privacy Protection service is optional, we’ll give you the opportunity to add it to any of your domains at a later point in time if you think things over and choose to hide your private info from the public after you have already created the semi-dedicated account.
