CNAME Records in Website Hosting
You can easily create CNAME records provided you have a website hosting from our company. We will provide you with an easy-to-use CP where you can see all DNS records for the domains and subdomains which are hosted in the account. Creating a CNAME record requires several easy steps - select the domain/subdomain, choose CNAME as the type, type in the hostname you are redirecting to, after that simply click the Save button. The process is as basic as that and the new record is going to be active almost immediately. This way, you're going to have more control over your domain names and subdomains and over the content they open, you could create a private URL for company emails, and a lot more. If you feel unsure about how to set up a new record or you have never done such a task, you will find there's a short video tutorial where you could see the whole process first-hand. If you want to change or delete an existing CNAME record created for a domain/subdomain hosted on our end, it'll require literally simply a click to get it done.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server from our company and you want to set up a CNAME record, it requires no more than a few mouse clicks to complete this task. The plans are handled through our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel where you will find a section committed to the DNS records of the domain addresses and subdomains hosted within the account. To set up a CNAME record, you will simply have to select the record type and the hostname (domain or subdomain), key in where the latter is going to be pointed to and save the modification. The new record will be active almost right away in our system and will propagate worldwide within a few hours. Changing or deleting an existing CNAME record inside the account is just as easy and takes a click. In case you experience any issues, you can go through our in-depth help article, check out the short video on the subject that we have added in the CP, or you can just contact us for help.
